Online poker has become globally acclaimed recently, with televised competitions and celebrity poker game shows. Its popularity, though, stretches back quite a bit farther than its television ratings. Over the years several types on the original poker game have been created, including a handful of games that are not quite poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely affiliated with vingt-et-un than long-standing poker, in that the gamblers wager against the casino instead of each other. The winning hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is no concealment or other types of concealment. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to ante up prior to the dealer declares "No more wagers." At that instance, both you and the casino and of course all of the different gamblers acquire 5 cards. After you have observed your hand and the dealer’s initial card, you must either make a call bet or bow out. The call wager’s amount is akin to your beginning bet, meaning that the risks will have doubled. Giving Up means that your wager goes directly to the casino. After the wager comes the face off. If the bank doesn’t have ace/king or better, your bet is given back, with a sum in accordance with the initial wager. If the house does have ace/king or better, you succeed if your hand beats the bank’s hand. The house pony’s up chips equal to your bet and fixed odds on your call bet. These expectations are:

  • Even for a pair or high card
  • two to one for 2 pairs
  • three to one for three of a kind
  • 4-1 for a straight
  • five to one for a flush
  • seven to one for a full house
  • twenty to one for a 4 of a kind
  • fifty to one for a straight flush
  • one hundred to one for a royal flush
