Web poker has become globally famous as of late, with televised tournaments and celebrity poker game events. The games universal appeal, though, arcs back in fact a bit farther than its television scores. Over the years several variants on the earliest poker game have been developed, including a handful of games that are not in reality poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely related to 21 than old guard poker, in that the gamblers wager against the bank instead of the other players. The succeeding hands, are the established poker hands. There is little concealment or different types of deception. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to pay up just before the dealer declares "No more bets." At that instance, both you and the casino and of course every one of the different players receive 5 cards each. After you have observed your hand and the casino’s first card, you must either make a call bet or bow out. The call bet’s value is akin to your beginning ante, indicating that the stakes will have doubled. Abandoning means that your bet goes directly to the dealer. After the wager comes the showdown. If the casino doesn’t have ace/king or better, your bet is given back, with an amount in accordance with the ante. If the house has a hand with ace/king or better, you win if your hand beats the casino’s hand. The dealer pays chips even with your initial bet and set expectations on your call bet. These expectations are:
- Even for a pair or high card
- 2-1 for 2 pairs
- 3-1 for 3 of a kind
- 4-1 for a straight
- five to one for a flush
- 7-1 for a full house
- twenty to one for a four of a kind
- fifty to one for a straight flush
- one hundred to one for a royal flush
